It has been a while since I have read Bad Kitty so before I started this book I did not really remember Jas's voice all that much. It took a little while for me to get used to it and many things bugged me in this book that did in the first one. I absolutely could not stand how she continually did the things that she made fun of people for. For example when her evil cousin and friend put random slashes in their words to put more emphasis on the words and yet she does this a lot. Her talking to herself and having another 'part' of herself answer is also a big pet peeve of mine. Finally how annoying it was trying to figure out if Jasmine was pretending to misinterpret the people around her so much or if she was just that stupid.
On the more positive kinder side of things the book is hilarious. If you have read the first book you will only glean more information about each of the characters that were there before. For some reason even though so many things in this book bugged me it was an extremely good read. I think some of the things that really bugged me made it interesting. I am sorry to say but I found practically all of the characters completely unrealistic in anywhere but the land of fiction.
Don't get me wrong. I really liked this book but for some reason I can only remember the bad things right now and not a lot of the good. Just know that it is a really good book. You just have to try to get past the Mega Drama Queen that is Jasmine. It is definitely worth it.
