Issues... Me?

I can not help myself when it comes to changing my desktop on my computer more often than I should. I change it incessantly. Whenever I get sick of my desktop I find myself changing it. Then I have to change the color of my boxes. And then my screen saver. In the end I would have spent a good hour just changing to look of everything on my computer and I tell myself that I wont do it again. That what I have is amazing. The cat's meow. The bee's knees. My one. My everything. This is the look I wanted to see every time I turned on my computer. I am okay.. no, ecstatic for others to see this complete masterpiece of desktops that I put together. I am proud of myself.

And then I get bored with it. However I don't take it down right away because in a small corner of my mind I remember how dang long it took to get that awesome and I am positive that people would miss how it was if I changed it. But then I remember that I am really the only one that will see it. And I change it.

Yeah. In a comment I said that I loved my background and how it was the cat's meow. Well like the cat's meow my love for my blog background has faded and is but a distant memory. But then I feel the same about the title. However that is something that I have already changed once before and I learned that it takes quite a bit of my work with it so I am never doing that again. Most likely.

What I am trying to say is this: If you see dramatic changes to my blog and every so often you wonder if you have wandered on a blog you were not searching for it is because I have gotten sick of my last blog style and have changed it up. Never fear. I just have some issues. Then again that is the very reason that I read. I want to get away from my slightly boring and monotonous life. This message is but a warning that probably will be a bit to late for most.

A long time later. . .

You do not want to know how long it took me to complete my remodeling of this site. You really don't.

  1. Love the new layout, but then I liked the old one too! Hey, not sure if you've heard about Busting the Newbie Blues, but its an event that lets new bloggers connect with each other. It's only going on for 2 more days, but you should get involved. Here's the link if your interested. http://smallreview.blogspot.com/2010/12/event-busting-newbie-blues.html

  2. @Shannon the BookStalker You are so sweet! I just glanced at the site so far but it looks really helpful. In fact I am going to go back there once I finish telling everyone how awesome you are. Everyone, Shannon the BookStalker is awesome! P.S. Thanks for making all of those hours redoing the layout feel like they paid off.

I encourage feedback because it reminds me that I am not talking to myself. I don't mind if you comment on my post, recommend a book, or just want to say hello. You can even have a conversation with each other. All civil correspondence is welcomed.
